John A Clarke established the Yarra Hotel in 1869. In 1874, Jane McNally received a summons for permitting Emily McNally to conduct the business of the hotel for more than 28 days, yet the charges were dismissed.  De-licensing of the Yarra Hotel took place on 15 April 1908.  Since 1978, it has been the site of the flooring shop, Country Floors.
